STYLE SNATCHER: Chloé imitation boots

The Chloé Susanna studded leather boots, (£795 from Net-A- Porter) have been popular in celebville for a while now and have been worn by celebrities such as Sienna Miller, Kate Bosworth and Kourtney Kardashian.

These ankle boots are a cross between biker and punk, but these ladies have managed to make them look girly by teaming them with their everyday outfits. They are also very versatile as they can be worn in summer with a skirt and top combo or can be worn in winter with jeans and a leather jacket. Searching the internet I could barely find anything under £50 which looked similar to the originals. I found a pair by Steve Madden which are strikingly similar but not cheapest style snatcher at £120.

Most retailers stocked them last autumn winter and have now sold out. However, after lots of internet trailing I came across some 'Black Buckle Silver Stud Ankle Boots' by Truffle on Oh My Love. The pair that I found literally look identical and are much cheaper than the Chloé boots at £32.00.

Parrot Bay Cocktails

Parrot Bay Cocktails. Image from www.parrotbay.com

I am no food blogger or critic, but I have just recently discovered Parrot Bay Cocktails which come in packets, which you then freeze at home for 8 hours and squeeze then and they come out as amazing daiquiri's. Previous, to discovering Parrot Bay, I have tried pre-made cocktails in cans and bottles from supermarkets and been very disappointed as they were lacking in fruity flavour and had too much vodka in them.

However Parrot Bay Cocktails are so fruity and delicious, especially the Berry Daiquiri one, which is definitely my favourite. They are actually nicer than some cocktails I have had in bars! These cocktails are perfect for parties, as there is a no-fuss nonsense about them as you simply open them and pour them without having to mix a concoction of spirit and juices. They are also perfect for a summer BBQ or indeed would be fun to have at home when you have holiday blues and need something to remind you of your vacation.

You can buy Parrot Bay Cocktails in selected supermarkets such as Tesco and ASDA.

GOSSIP EXCLUSIVE: Lucy Mecklenburgh posts Instagram picture after Max George romance ends

It was only a few weeks ago that Lucy Mecklenburgh was raving about how Max George is such a nice guy and not at all like the bad boy he is portrayed as. However it has recently been revealed that Max George has been spending time with model Jasmine Lennard whilst in America. With hectic schedules it seems like Lucy and Max have not been able to see much of each other recently, as Lucy has been in the UK working on her new fitness website, Results With Lucy whilst Max is on tour with The Wanted in America.

It seems that Lucy has obviously heard the news about Max and his new conquest and took to Instagram this morning to react to it, posting an image that read:

She was perhaps mocking the situation she's in, making light of something that must be frustrating for her. Let's just hope she does not get back with Mario, who revealed that he would take her back if Max George cheats.

It seems that celebrities love the Zara City Bag as much as us. Lucy Mecklenburgh from The Only Way is Essex was spotted with the handbag back in 2012 and more recently Michelle Keegan was papped with it in July. Labelled 'City', this bag is perfect for work or shopping / lunch, as it is roomy enough to fit all your essentials in.

This handbag is so popular that Zara have released it for next season as well, meaning that its fast becoming a signature piece. Its so versatile as being black, you can use it for summer and winter. Its also a dead ringer for Prada's Tote bag and Givenchy's Antigona bag which Miranda Kerr loves (see below) but at £49.99 its much cheaper than these two designer bags, perhaps that's why its so popular!

MAC Lustre Lipstick in Politely Pink

Image from the official macosmetics.co.uk

MAC Lustre in Politely Pink

MAC lustre lipstick in Politely Pink is a gorgeous shimmery pearly pink, as a lustre it is makes lips appear soft and smooth. I found this particular lipstick when I was searching for a light, nude colour with pink pigments in it. After seeing one of Tanya Burr's youtube tutorial's where she uses the nude MAC lipstick Plink I was convinced that this was the colour I wanted, but when I tried it on I found that it was too subtle that it barely looked like anything was on my lips.

Then I found Politely Pink which was way more flattering on my lips than Plink. Politely Pink is a great lipstick which goes really well with dark eye makeup or winged eyeliner. It is also relatively long lasting - (if you drink through straws) and I found that as a lustre it moisturises my lips and does not dry them out like some other lipsticks do.

Overall Politely Pink was a great find because it is one that you do not hear about as much as Candy Yum Yum, Girl About Town and Snob. I cannot recommend it enough, if you're looking for a light pearly pink with a beautiful shimmer or even a light colour that will flatter a smokey eye then invest in Politely Pink!

Celebrity beauty secrets uncovered

Kate Moss and Vaseline Lip Therapy Rose Lips

Images from Google Images

I read in a magazine once that Kate Moss slicks a bit of Vaseline Lip Therapy Rosy Lips on her cheeks for a rosy blush. This is commonly used for lips, but like most products it has a multi- purpose. I think this is a great idea as it is something you would probably carry around in your handbag, therefore making it easier to get rosy cheeks on the go. I have tried it myself and it definitely made my cheeks look very rosy!

Kim Kardashian and sugar

Kim Kardashian adds sugar to her regular body scrub in order to increase the exfoliation properties. Kim is no stranger to trying out more natural beauty products, as seen on Keeping Up with the Kardashians when she tries out a face mask which contains fruit in it because she read it was anti aging.

Victoria Beckham and Millie Mackintosh and Johnson's Baby Oil

Victoria Beckham tweeted a picture of Johnson's Baby Oil advising followers to apply it 'after regimen', i.e. after flights to lock in the moisture. Flights are dehydrating and Johnson's Baby Oil does keep skin very moisturised, so she knows what she's talking about!

Millie Mackintosh also recently said that she loves Johnson's Baby Oil Spray and keeps 'a bottle' in her 'beauty bag ready for those red carpet moments'. Millie often has radiant skin at showbiz events so its not hard to believe that she uses this product!

Nicole Scherzinger and pure coconut oil

Nicole Scherzinger's skin always looks so fresh and glowing and the reason behind that is pure coconut oil which she says she loves to use as a moisturiser for her body.

So what do you think? Are you tempted to try out any of these celebs beauty secrets?

Kiko Skin Glow: Review

Kiko Skin Glow moisturizing cream with SPF 10, £6.40 comes in really nice packaging and is a big size so you feel like you're getting something which is value for money. The product reminds me of Olay Complete Care Everyday Sunshine Moisturiser because it is tinted and gives your skin a very similar glow. The moisturiser has very small particles of glitter in it which comes out on your skin. But it is not so glitterly that you feel that you have been to a child's party!

I found that the applicator was hard to use as sometimes I pressed it and nothing came out, so this product requires a bit of perseverance! I needed two layers of this moisturiser as I did not feel that one layer made my skin glow enough to make a noticable difference. Nonetheless my skin did look healthier. The cream absorbed into my skin very quickly, making me feel like I wanted to apply a generous amount on my face.

I did not find this product as moistursing as a day cream such as Nivea creme, nevertheless I think that it will make a good base for makeup because it absorbs well and gives skin a very subtle glow. One problem that I found with using this product is that once I had used it my hands were all glitterly and even after washing my hands once it did not come off, so as a contact lenses wearer this was not great for me. So if you wear contact lenses I advise you to put them in before you apply this moisturiser and the same goes for any other tinted creams / foundations.

I think that all skin types can use this day cream as it does not make skin too shiny. Also this product contains SPF 10 in it, so its good to use for this time of year. Will I be buying this product again? I am not so sure because it does not give me the overall look of radiance that I want and I think that you are much better faking radiance with an illuminator such as Nars Copacabana. However, I think that this product is great for someone that likes a subtle sheen or radiance.
