Tyra Banks, model and television presenter, is never one to shy away from the limelight. In Tyra's latest creative project she has literally transformed herself into three top supermodels, Cindy Crawford, Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne. She published the results of her makeovers on Twitter for all her followers to see. 

Her photograph's are timely, linking in with the airing of the new season of America's Next Top Model. In the shots it is startling how much Tyra looks like these supers. In particular the resemblance she bares to Kate Moss is striking. Although many will look at these photos and think that she used photoshop, Tyra insists that the photos have not been edited.

I was overwhelmed at how she has managed to capture the expressions and looks of these models. In doing so she has shown her versatility as a model and perhaps demonstrated to her new wannabe models on America's Next Top Model that it's possible to transform yourself into whoever you want to be. Thus, she makes the point that no supermodels beauty is unattainable.

Are grills a fashion statement or chavy?

Right now I am sat here thinking of all the Hollywood A-listers that wear grills on their teeth. For anyone that does not know what a grill is, it's a metal coating for the teeth worn as an accessory. In a few words, it is a fashionable brace for celebrities. Popularized by rap stars such as Nelly in the early noughties, grills are now making a comeback.

Rihanna, Beyonce and Madonna have all worn them. In recent months, Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus have blinged up their teeth with grills. However now the Kardashian / Jenner women have started adorning their teeth with grills (cue a cult trend emerging). First Kylie Jenner was spotted wearing them, showing off her golden grills on Instagram. Now older sister, Kim Kardashian has jumped on board, and has been photographed wearing some by none other than Karl Lagerfeld for the latest issue of CR Fashion Book. Kim is not usually one to make such a pointed fashion statement, however since the union with self proclaimed fashion designer Kanye West, she has been trying out all kinds of interesting fashions.

It is arguable that because all these famous women have worn grills, they are indeed a fashion trend. Well, you can get them made out of gold and what is more fabulous than that? They make any outfit look edgier and give you some sort of street cred, that mostly rap stars can appreciate. If fashion icons Rihanna and Beyonce are sporting them, then they have got to be in vogue? Indeed if the fashion queen that is Carine Roitfeld approved of Kim Kardashian wearing grills for her publication, then they must be stylish. Kim's photograph makes them look chic, due to whimsical lighting and lips parted in a seductive manner.

However one could also argue that grills are chavy. They are becoming so common now that they have started to morph into a representation of chav-chic. These celebrities often show off their grills with a wide open mouth, that is not molded into a smile but a scowl as if to say 'I'm hard as nails, back off.' There is something very uncouth about this facial expression. You only have to look at the picture of Katy Perry to witness this expression in full force.

Whatever your thoughts are on grills, it looks like they are here to stay, for those rich enough to afford to buy a stylish 'brace' for their teeth. Mark my words, scores of teenage girls will be asking their parents for a grill soon. To which they will say 'we already have one... to toast sandwiches.'

Kourtney Kardashian finds her fashion feet

Kourtney Kardashian has been showcasing her daring yet impeccable style recently. She wore a bejewelled looking dress and pink pointed heels to promote the Kardashian Khaos range at The Mirage in Las Vegas, last Saturday. Kourtney kept her accessories simple, only wearing a gold watch, bracelet and earrings, in order to draw attention to the bold dress.

On Saturday night Kourtney wore a figure hugging black jumpsuit to party with her girlfriends, when she hosted the Labor Day bash at Hyde nightclub in Las Vegas. She completed the look with smokey eyes and voluminous wavy hair. Who can blame her for pulling out all the stops after the recent troubles her family are facing?

Kelly Brook has been relatively quiet, since the revelations that love rat aka ex boyfriend Danny Cipriani cheated on her and 'sexted' other women. The lingerie model and designer has thrown herself into work, staring in the video for boy band, Lawson's latest single, Juliet and releasing a new collection of clothing for New Look. However she has made few comments on her own love life, up until today, when she cryptically tweeted 'Falling in Lust can give you such a Delusional sense of reality.'

Whilst Kelly could have been referring to her reported dalliance with Andy from Lawson, it is likely that she is reflecting on her relationship with Cipriani. Perhaps, in hindsight she thinks her previous relationship was based on lust, which made her feel like she had some sort of stability with her boyfriend, but in reflection it was all pretentious.

Daisy Lowe steals the style crown at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards

Daisy Lowe pulled out all the stops at the GQ Men Of The Year Awards last night, wearing a plunging black gown, ignoring the rule that you should only show breast or leg. However she totally rocked this look, as she accessorized the dress with red heels and lippy. She even out-did supermodels Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Jordan Dunn in the style stakes, as they both played it safe with neutral tones and simple cuts. Daisy also wins my style crown of the red carpet because she had such a beaming smile, whilst the other two girls looked stony faced. In my opinion, Daisy never takes herself seriously and always looks healthy and happy. Well as Audrey Hepburn said - 'happy girls are the prettiest girls.'

Lucy Watson is the latest celebrity to reveal her beauty secrets over Twitter, as she answered fans questions about the makeup she wears, yesterday. This appeared to be inspired by a makeup shopping trip with Made in Chelsea co-star Binky Felstead. 

Lucy normally wears quite simple yet striking makeup, as she often applies a slick of eyeliner to her upper lashes with very neutral eyeshadow and keeps her complexion clear. She revealed that her favourite brands are one's which are not tested on animals, such as Urban Decay, Smashbox, Stila and Liz Earle. To get that smokey eye look, which Lucy loves, she uses Smashbox gel liner. Love the tips Lucy - keep them coming!

Kardashian Khaos

For the last couple of months the Kardashians have been through a trying time with many controversies threatening to disrupt the order of the Kardashian-Jenner unit. First we had criticism of Kim Kardashian's decision to not show herself in public after giving birth, and now rumours are circulating that Kris and Bruce Jenner are separating. Here are the reasons that the Kardashians are in a bit of chaos or "khaos".

Kim hides herself away from the public after giving birth

After giving birth, Kim Kardashian is understood to have hid away in her Mother's Calabasas mansion, for the sole purpose of working towards getting her pre-pregnancy body back before she made a public appearance. This made many people criticise her vanity. Rumous started to circulate that people were getting bored of Kim, because she had not been seen in public for eight weeks. This led to her making an appearance through video link on her Mother's chat show, with many saying that she was hiding body by only allowing a head to shoulder shot to be screened.

Questions over the paternity of Mason Disick

Model Michael Girgenti claimed that he was the father of Kourtney's son Mason, stating that he had a brief fling with her whilst Scott Disick was out of the picture. This is not the first time that the couple have faced these allegations. However this time Kourtney and Scott were quick to act and days after the claims were made, they were pictured visiting their lawyer's office to seek advice. This resulted in a paternity test which revealed that Scott is indeed Mason's father (phew).

Khloe's marriage meltdown

It all started when reports started to emerge that Khloe had thrown her husband, Lamar Odom out of their Calabasas mansion, whilst the couple were undergoing a trial separation. At first it was unclear why the couple had decided to separate. However it has recently been reported that Lamar has been facing a drug addiction for many years, which he had never managed to control. Khloe reportedly had to give her husband an ultimatum, to go to rehab or face being kicked out of their marital home. Lamar left their LA home and it remains unclear whether the couple will be able to work out their problems.

Rumours that The Kris Jenner Show has been cancelled

Kris Jenner did everything within her power to rank up the rating for her chat show, The Kris Jenner Show. Mario Lopez, daughter Khloe and Scott Disick were all roped into making an appearance on her show. In the season finale Kanye West even made an appearance, talking candidly about his relationship with Kim and putting to rest the speculation that he and Kris did not get on. Kanye presented viewers with the first look at his newborn daughter North. However despite all these amazing guest appearances, if reports are to be believed, Kris' show is due to be cancelled due to poor viewings and will not return for another season.

Kris and Bruce Jenner trial separation

The recent speculation to emerge from camp Jenner is that Kris and Bruce have been undergoing a trial separation for months now. At the start of the summer it was revealed that the couple lived in separate houses, Kris was spending a lot of time in Calabasas, now that her new granddaughter North had arrived and Kimye were staying at her home. Bruce, on the other hand spent most of the summer at his bachelor pad in Malibu, with visits from various members of the family from time to time.

Despite all of these problems the Kardashian-Jenner clan are facing, they have all been putting on brave faces. Khloe in particular has shown her strength through the many Instagram photos she has published of herself, looking seemingly at ease. Whether some of these reports, are true or not, it is un-deniable that the family are going through a hard time. 

The "Kardahsian Khaos" may seem un-controllable at the moment, but its nothing that they cannot overcome in time, with a few book releases, perfume launches and spin-off reality shows. The family are no stranger to controversy and have overcome Kim's 72 day marriage, with reports that it was a farce and the paternity of Khloe. Kendall and Kylie Jenner are now at the forefront of this brand and with their youth, will probably be the one's to re-vamp its troubled image.
