Bunchies are trending

Bunchies are everywhere this season. What was once just a schoolgirls way of tying up her hair is now a twenty something woman's way of expressing her playful side.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley showcased her bunchies in the recent Marks and Spencer Christmas advert which portrays her as something of a young Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz with red heeled shoes and hair styled in bunchies.

Lucy Mecklenburgh has also tapped into the bunchies trend, posing in gym gear with loosely styled hair, proving that even when working out bunchies look hot.

What do you think of bunchies? Will you be styling your hair like this?

The top celebrity hangouts in England

It's the question on everybody's lips, WHERE do celebrities hang out in England? Where do they go to get that perfect manicure? Where do they satisfy their hungry appetites? If you love reading about celebrities lifestyles as much as me, then read my guide to the top celebrity hangouts. They go to some pretty fabulous salons and restaurants, so who knows you might find your next hangout...

Glo Fulham, London

This is the go to place to have your nails done. Most of the Made in Chelsea ladies are regular clients of this hair and beauty salon based in Fulham. Rosie Fortescue and Louise Thompson regularly both get manicures done here. This is definitely a place that the MIC girls go to rather than just simply using it for filming purposes.

Inanch London, London

Inanch is the salon which the celebs hit when they want to get that fabulous blow dry or more specifically want to have their hair extensions put in or worked on, as the salon specialises in this. Favoured by the likes of Michelle Heaton, Nicola McClean and Sam Faiers, who paid a trip to the salon on Thursday, it is one of the exclusive hair salons in London boasting celebrity clients.

The King's Road, Chelsea, London

This is the stomping ground of the Made in Chelsea cast. You're likely to see Millie Mackintosh wondering around the boutiques. However a regular King's Road visitor is former MIC star Kimberley Garner, who un-like her former co-star actually lives in Chelsea and is papped wondering around on a regular basis.

Nobu, Berkeley St, London

If you want to spot an A-lister Nobu on Berkeley st, Mayfair is the place to go. This famous restaurant has welcomed many famous faces from Tamara Ecclestone and Elle Macpherson to the Beckhams. All who want to get their sushi fix.

Rosso Restaurant, Manchester

Owned by famous football player Rio Ferdinand celebrities from all over the country dine at Rosso Restaurant. Recent visitors include Lucy Mecklenburgh from The Only Way Is Essex and Helen Flanagan. Michelle Keegan has also dined here, having taken fiance Mark Wright there when he was in town.

The Rose Club, London

This nightclub is a hit with any celebrity who is in the capital who fancies clubbing in a plush club. Cheryl Cole, Kim Kardashian and Pixie Lott have all partied there. Most recently The Only Way Is Essex stars Sam Faiers and Ferne McCann went on a night out there.

Are some TOWIE stars getting too big for the show?

Before the likes of Lucy Mecklenburgh and Sam Faiers appeared in The Only Way is Essex, there were no magazine deals or boutiques  No, these were in part the creation of TOWIE, which gave these young Essex girls a platform in which to build a media image. As the long running show has progressed we have seen less scenes of the girls lying on each others beds drinking cups of tea and more scenes of them working in their shops and on photoshoots. It is no longer a show documenting the lives of normal Essex girls, but rather one giving an insight into the life of a celebrities. It is arguable that some of the stars careers have ascended to such a point that their sole claim to fame is no longer just TOWIE.

This happened to Amy Childs who was quick to leave the show, as soon as her boutiques had hit the ground running and clothing and beauty lines was taking off. Similarly Mark Wright left when television presenting deals were on the horizon. You could argue that some of the current cast are too big for the show now.

Lucy Mecklenburgh's career has escalated in the last year, as she is no longer just a TV personality. She has launched her own fitness website, Results with Lucy, signed a modelling deal with Select model management as a special bookings model and has just recently set her sight on an acting career. It was only a couple of weeks ago that Lucy was prowling the streets of LA dining at The Ivy and meeting Doug Reinhart. Most notably, it would seem that even Lucy herself no longer defines herself by TOWIE as on her bio for her Offical Twitter page, she simply has 'Fitness and Fashion Media Bookings', with no reference to the show.

Lauren Pope's career has also progressed as well, as she has DJ'd for Ministry of Sound and has her own brand of clip-in hair extensions, Hair Rehab London which have been worn by Little Mix members Perrie Edwards and Jesy Nelson.

Whilst TOWIE has played a huge part in both Lucy and Lauren's lives, they are no longer defined by it. Their outside projects have done much to evolve their careers and develop their celebrity statutes. They are now known as business women with expanding brands, not just a cast member in a reality television show. Perhaps they are too big for the show?

What do you think - are these TOWIE stars too big for the show? Should the programme just document the lives of normal Essex girls?

Is Lily Allen making a dig at Millie Mackintosh?

Lily Allen. Image from parentdish.co.uk

Lily Allen posted a controversial tweet this morning, stating 'Thin people who incessantly feel the need to post pictures of themselves 'working out' you are smug, not inspirational. Stop it. #living ugh'. Allen's gained a lot of attention with it currently being retweeted by 1,766 Twitter users, one which included The Saturday's Rochelle Humes.

It appears that Lily is talking about the recent trend of bikini and gym selfies in which people take pictures of their bodies, honed by the gym for all to see. Whilst she could be referring to any number of celebrities that do this such as TOWIE's Lucy Mecklenburgh or MIC's Lucy Watson. It cannot be a coincidence that Millie Mackintosh posted a bikini selfie, showing off the results of her gym workout around 20 hours before Lily posted this tweet. Millie posted this particular Instagram photo with the caption 'Hard work in the gym finally paying off! #nopainnogain', which she also posted to her Twitter page.

Lily's tweet mentions people who post pictures of themselves 'working out' and Millie's picture makes a reference to the 'gym' and the fact that she got that body through working out. Furthermore Millie has posted numerous other pictures of herself working out with her personal trainer before, so it seems likely that Lily is making a dig at her in particular.

GOSSIP EXCLUSIVE: Lucy Mecklenburgh posts Instagram picture after Max George romance ends

(From left to right): Max George and Lucy Mecklenburgh. Images from mirror.co.uk and thesun.co.uk

It was only a few weeks ago that Lucy Mecklenburgh was raving about how Max George is such a nice guy and not at all like the bad boy he is portrayed as. However it has recently been revealed that Max George has been spending time with model Jasmine Lennard whilst in America. With hectic schedules it seems like Lucy and Max have not been able to see much of each other recently, as Lucy has been in the UK working on her new fitness website, Results With Lucy whilst Max is on tour with The Wanted in America.

It seems that Lucy has obviously heard the news about Max and his new conquest and took to Instagram this morning to react to it, posting an image that read:

She was perhaps mocking the situation she's in, making light of something that must be frustrating for her. Let's just hope she does not get back with Mario, who revealed that he would take her back if Max George cheats.

STYLE SNATCHER: The Zara bag the celebs love

It seems that celebrities love the Zara City Bag as much as us. Lucy Mecklenburgh from The Only Way is Essex was spotted with the handbag back in 2012 and more recently Michelle Keegan was papped with it in July. Labelled 'City', this bag is perfect for work or shopping / lunch, as it is roomy enough to fit all your essentials in.

This handbag is so popular that Zara have released it for next season as well, meaning that its fast becoming a signature piece. Its so versatile as being black, you can use it for summer and winter. Its also a dead ringer for Prada's Tote bag and Givenchy's Antigona bag which Miranda Kerr loves (see below) but at £49.99 its much cheaper than these two designer bags, perhaps that's why its so popular!

MOWIE

Imagine a reality show mash-up of The Only Way Is Essex and Made in Chelsea, now that would be interesting. It would be something in between Essex glamour and Chelsea Sloane. Imagining Mark Francis’ face at this idea would just make it even more worth while! So I’ve put my thinking cap on and created some MOWIE couples who I think would be great together!

Joey Essex from TOWIE and Phoebe Lettice from MIC. They both look about 16, have quirky styles, love fashion and are up for having fun. Phoebe could also help Joey out with his Fusey line, maybe a feature in Tatler wouldn't go amiss?

Stevie Johnson from MIC and Lucy Mecklenburgh from TOWIE. After being treated badly by love rat Mario, Lucy deserves an all round nice, sweet and genuine guy and Stevie is certainly that!

James Lock from TOWIE and Lucy Watson from MIC. These too both seem like players, so why not put them together?

Spencer Matthews from MIC and Lauren Pope from TOWIE. It's going to take a lot to tame Spencer and an older woman like Lauren might just be the trick. Plus she's blonde, and if there's something we've learnt from Spencer's Caggie obsession and Julianne Hough crush its that he likes blondes.

What do you think of these MOWIE couples? Are they a match made in reality heaven?
