GOSSIP EXCLUSIVE: Louise Thompson and Lucy Watson row esculates

(From left to righ)t: Lucy Watson and Louise Thompson. Images from Google Images

Made in Chelsea may be taking a break after series 5, but the bitch fights are yet to be put on the shelf. It would seem that Louise Thompson and Lucy Watson are still at loggerheads. Not content with shooting insults at each other on screen the co-stars are exchanging insults on the favoured medium of celeb spats - Twitter. The pair originally fell out after Louise split up with her cheating boyfriend Spencer Matthews, and Lucy Watson got together with him soon after. However, before that the pair had never got on as Lucy had never made it a secret that she fancied Spencer.

When a Twitter user accused Louise Thompson's private life of revolving over 'crying over Spencer', Louise hit back, causing the the user to state that she was now Team Lucy. Louise then responded with 'obviously chavs support chavs'. Of course Lucy was never going to sit back and take the high road, as she replied to Louise saying 'your insults are boring now get a new hobby'. Perhaps fearing a back lash Louise has since deleted her tweet.

So if we were not already excited enough for series 6 of MIC, this spat gives us a clear indication that the drama and tension between the two ladies will most definitely continue. I do not see an olive branch being offered any time soon!

Live life the Melissa Forde way

(From left to right): Rihanna and Melissa Forde. Image from Google Images

Melissa Forde, Rihanna’s BFF aka bosom buddy is best known as her sidekick. She describes herself as Rihanna's assistant on her official Facebook and is also a photographer. Melissa is often papped alongside her best friend, as her PPP – perfect party pal. RiRi constantly tweets to her BFF making sure that the world knows who her companion is. One of her latest tweets featuring Forde states ‘me and my main’ accompanied by a photo of the two. Forde is the equivalent of a backing dancer, she follows Rihanna on tour, assists her and experiences the buzz of it without being centre stage.

The two ladies also mirror each others style like six year old twins. From rocking black leather to short shorts and floral fashion, their styles could not be more in sync.

If you follow RiRi on Instagram you will see that Forde pops up in many of her photos, from attending Paris Couture Week to partying with Cara Delevingne, she is there immersed in the crazy world of RiRi. So if you have to be someone be Melissa Forde. She gets to live the pop star lifestyle, without being the star. Therefore she gets all the perks of fame without the same amount of media attention that her famous best friend gets.

8 of the best STATEMENT necklaces

I am so in love with statement necklaces at the moment, they jazz up any outfit that would otherwise look quite plain. Spring / summer is the perfect time to wear a statement necklace as bright hues are embraced.  With this dreary weather we've been having there is even more reason to sport a dazzling statement piece. I would really recommend in investing in one as they cheer up any work or daytime look. If you've got some cash to spend then I would recommend Topshop. Their necklaces may set you back £30-£40 but they do some fantastic jewellery. If you are on a budget try New Look, they have some really eye catching pieces for less than £10.

This Accessorize piece may just be very popular since Millie Mackintosh was spotted wearing it for one of her Style Diary looks. This may be a subtle, but its very pretty and is for those that want to try wearing statement jewellery but don't feel confident enough to wear a heavy, chunky piece. This would look fantastic with any daytime look and can be worn at night as well.

This electric MY FLASH TRASH necklace is perfect for after work cosmos.

This Topshop necklace may be simple in colour but its chunky jewels are very dominant. If you are a classic kind of woman then this necklace might just be the one. It dresses up any outfit with just the right amount of sophistication. Just watch the magpies hovering around!

This New Look Bungee Rope Gemstone Necklace is such a striking, fierce orange. This colour is very in this season as well, so with this necklace you will be ticking all the right fashion boxes. I personally think this necklace would look amazing on anyone with a darker complexion, as bright colours really flatter olive / dark skin. Something like this would be suitable for a festival, where you want to wear something bold but in-expensive so there's no guilt involved if it gets damaged.

Pastel hues are a MUST for summer and so is this necklace. With bright jewels it is something which is a key holiday piece.

This OUTHOUSE necklace has a very decadent feel, which I love. Inspired by the Baroque era, it has an antique feel. This necklace may look high maintenance but its guaranteed to get you noticed.

With bright neon hues this necklace is guaranteed to help you stand out from the crowd. Plus neon is very in this season. Let the exhibitionist in you shine!

Topshop, Statement necklace, £30

This Topshop necklace, which is nearly all colours of the rainbow will bring a splash of colour to any outfit. What's brilliant about it, is that you can team it with any top in any of the colours found in this necklace, it will bring out the hue wonderfully. Although not available online you can find it in store.

Will you be wearing a STATEMENT NECKLACE this season? Do you think they are a one hit wonder or a wardrobe staple? Let me know in the comments box below.

MOWIE

Imagine a reality show mash-up of The Only Way Is Essex and Made in Chelsea, now that would be interesting. It would be something in between Essex glamour and Chelsea Sloane. Imagining Mark Francis’ face at this idea would just make it even more worth while! So I’ve put my thinking cap on and created some MOWIE couples who I think would be great together!

Joey Essex from TOWIE and Phoebe Lettice from MIC. They both look about 16, have quirky styles, love fashion and are up for having fun. Phoebe could also help Joey out with his Fusey line, maybe a feature in Tatler wouldn't go amiss?

Stevie Johnson from MIC and Lucy Mecklenburgh from TOWIE. After being treated badly by love rat Mario, Lucy deserves an all round nice, sweet and genuine guy and Stevie is certainly that!

James Lock from TOWIE and Lucy Watson from MIC. These too both seem like players, so why not put them together?

Spencer Matthews from MIC and Lauren Pope from TOWIE. It's going to take a lot to tame Spencer and an older woman like Lauren might just be the trick. Plus she's blonde, and if there's something we've learnt from Spencer's Caggie obsession and Julianne Hough crush its that he likes blondes.

What do you think of these MOWIE couples? Are they a match made in reality heaven?

Those that "punked" and those that funked from punk

The annual Met Ball held in New York is an excuse for any A-Lister to deck themselves in glamorous attire head to toe. Last year's theme Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations gave attendees the excuse to simply wear fabulous dresses, preferably Prada. However this year's theme: punk was a little more challenging for Hollywood A-Listers and would mean compromising glamour in some cases. Essentially there were those that "punked" and those that funked from punk.

Image from dailymail.com

Those that showcased a punk look included Sienna Miller, Madonna, Cara Delevingne and Lily Collins. It was spikes, studs and grungy makeup galore on the red carpet. Collins' goth like makeup with catlike wings around her eye, particularly caught my attention. Not to mention the horizontal, exaggerated lines which are very on trend. I was impressed that one lady whose makeup is normally impeccable was willing to go grunge. A special mention goes out to Sarah Jessica Parker who wore Giles Deacon, thigh high tartan Louis Vuitton boots and a Philip Tracey headpiece bearing a mowhawk. Head to tie the whole look embraced punk wholeheartedly, from the tartan to the mowhawk Sarah Jessica Parker showed that she is a true party trooper, by sticking to the theme.

However there were those that did not seem to spot the dress code on the invitation, ahem...Miranda Kerr, Emma Watson, Kim Kardashian, Kate Upton, Katie Holmes and Gwyneth Paltrow. What were they thinking in turning up to a Met Ball wearing ballgowns with not an inch of punk between them? Ladies wearing black does not count as punk! Katie Holmes in particular ignored the dress code with her white floor length Francisco Costa gown which was far from punky and actually looked like her next wedding dress.

This year's theme was a bit of an ask for these glamorous ladies who are normally never seen looking less than flawless. However that is not to say that punk could have not been made fashionable. A few studs or tartan would not have gone amiss from some. Nevertheless I applaud those that took note of the dress code. All I can hope for is more Met Ball themes which push the aesthetic boundaries. After a while floor length ball gowns become tiresome.

Viva Forever! review

Viva Forever! received a lot of press attention since it was launched in June 2012, mainly because of The Spice Girls involvement in the musical and promotion of it. Firstly I have to admit, that the main reason I wanted to see this musical is because I loved The Spice Girls, so anything which is remotely to do with them and I'm sold.

When I first heard of this musical I thought that the story was about The Spice Girls and their rise to fame. So I was quite surprised when I found out that it was a different story entirely, but just based on the songs of The Spice Girls.

The criticism of this musical didn't give it the best start, which made me a bit dubious. But then I love The Spice Girls songs so much that I was still very excited to see the musical.

I was pleasantly surprised by Viva Forever!, the storyline is refreshingly modern, The Spice Girls songs blended in perfectly to the storyline and there was plenty of humour.

On entering into The Piccadilly Theatre, you would be mistaken for thinking you had walked into your nearest Topshop. The audience were distinctly female. One glance at the row I was sitting in revealed not a man in sight.

Viva Forever! kept an audience of mostly women entertained with its feel good songs and story about friendship and growing up. There were some noticeable parallels to The Spice Girls. This included girls with their own distinctive personalities, trying to carve a name for themselves in an over competitive industry and the breaking up of a band.

Something which I particularly liked about Viva Forever! is how modern the storyline is. It's a musical which relates to the era of reality shows and singing competitions. The girl band enters into a singing competition called 'Starmaker', which has shades of X Factor about it. From the rich, ego driven judges to the judge's houses. In one part, one of the judges, Simone was even pleading with her assistant to find Viva's sob story to unveil to viewers. The fabrication of a sob story for the TV talent contest is indicative of how the musical could be a parody of talent shows such as X Factor.

The Spice Girls songs seem to be made for Viva Forever! All the song's lyrics perfectly suit the storyline. 'Mama' summed up Viva's emotional goodbye to her Mother as she left home in pursuit of her singing career and 'Who Do You Think You Are?' reflected the need for Viva to prove herself at a crucial part of the singing competition.

Although this musical has been attacked by the critics, Jennifer Saunders recently cleverly stated - "So the critics - five middle-aged men - didn't like it". She has a point, The Spice Girls were never a band for middle aged men or indeed men at all. So it's not surprising that they didn't take to a musical centred on girl power.

Ultimately this is a feel good musical with a very modern resonance and if you are a fan of The Spice Girls songs then this is a must see!

Happy 10 years of fantastic STYLE

The Sunday Times Style Magazine's FIERCE covers: (From the top): Lily Cole, Rhianna, Emma Watson, Eva Herzigova. (Bottom): Blake Lively and Helena Bonham Carter.

This is a blog post driven by my love of The Sunday Times Style magazine and a celebration of the 10th anniversary of a magazine which I have practically grown up with. Yesterday, Style Magazine celebrated its 10th birthday, 10 years of bringing us fantastic coverage of fashion from a witty and intelligent perspective.

Style Magazine has brightened up my Sunday's since what feels like forever. Every Sunday, running down the stairs, getting my hands on Style magazine and greedily reading it cover to cover has became a Sunday ritual of mine, from my teenage years and on into my twenties.

Style magazine has had some pretty fierce covers (see photo), provided by the likes of cover stars such as Rhianna, Blake Lively, Lily Cole and Helena Bonham Carter. As a magazine it has succeeded in bringing us the latest figures of popular culture and putting them closely under the Style spotlight. From the HOT LIST to WARDROBE MISTRESS the magazine has iconic features, which will stay with me for life.

#Happy10th Style Magazine.
